I love this! I tried this with my son but had some trouble. If I don't use a flash the sky looks great but the player is too dark. If I use a flash then the player looks great but the sky is totally washed out. Help?!?
You need to expose for the sky but make sure that you don't go above your flash sync speed and then manually set your flash to a power that will give the subject enough fill light. Also if you can have your flash off camera to one side or the other of the subject.
