Vientiane Boat Racing Festival (Boun Xuang Heua)

A few pics from the boat racing festival in Vientiane. As you will notice there are no pics of the actual boat races, I shot a few of them but didn't really like the pics.


The last night of the festival was probably the most memorable part of the trip and I would have probably have taken more photographs if I hadn't gotten so hammered. It is hard to know how much you have been drinking in Laos since you drink out of a glass instead of a bottle. And the glasses are always magically full.
