For those of you that haven't already hear, I was named Photographer of the Year by the North Carolina Press Photographers Assc. It was quite an honor and a surprise. So it seems 2008 is off to a good start.

congratulations...you deserve it. i read your photoblog daily, and i really like your work. I also do photojournalism, but on a low level, but what i see here, it's faboulos...i could never reach your level.

Thanks Kevin. Yeah I'm not even sure what level I'm suppose to be at. I just point a light capturing box at things and push a button.
